I am very happy to have found this great facility out in the Swan Valley where I agist my own horse, Cognac, while being able to coach and train in a large jumping arena.
I can set gymnastic exercises and still have room to place jumps, practice over lines, combinations and more. Priory Park has everything a jumper needs when preparing a horse for competition. There are two arenas: one for dressage that is 20 x 60 metres and one for jumping at 60 x 60 metres; as well as stables, showers, toilet facilities and plenty of parking for cars and floats and a whole bunch of very friendly people. I have found great support from everyone around and feel comfortable and happy every time I come here to ride or coach.
Marcia Devenney runs the centre. She is a dressage coach and rider herself, so she well understands the needs of those who use the centre. Everything is managed beautifully and the place is always neat, clean and tidy with a great atmosphere. Marcia and her team have around eighteen horses currently agisted.
Priory Park also organizes jumping and dressage training days, training rounds and more, so everyone can keep up with their training demands while also having a lot of fun.
Arena fees are very reasonable at $10 per hour and riders can contact Marcia on 0459 444 990 to book the dressage or jumping arena.
